As the newest member of Hellyeah, Kyle Sanders joined a well established band of brothers who all come from very well known bands in the past and has fitted in perfectly. While he hasn’t appeared on any of the albums yet having only joined in 2014, his talents can be seen on tour where the band are wrapping up in the U.S on the Rockstar Mayhem Festivals. Australia will be lucky enough to catch him and the rest of the band in August when Hellyeah do a headline run around the country. We talk to Kyle about touring in general and what fans can expect down under.
Kyle: “We’re really focusing on the new record a lot so we’re playing a lot of songs off of that. Like on this tour on Mayhem that we’ve been doing in the States, we’ve been playing only 40 minutes so it’s kinda hard to pick and choose songs from 4 albums and cram it in 40 minutes but having the freedom to do a headline set and to play an hour and ten, hour and 20, hour and a half or whatever it’s going to be, we can get a good mix of everything. Play plenty of songs off the first record and pick and choose on the other 2 and then we’re playing a lot like I said off of “Blood For Blood”. So it will pretty much be a high energy big release for everybody.”
