Not Inpublic – Not Inpublic

Spawner Records - November 3rd 2016

There’s a spiky punkiness and a great riff rock sensibility to opener ‘Dead to Me’ that has you instantly hooked and wondering where Not Inpublic will take this, and thankfully it’s into a world where Ramones are kings and things are rocking, indeed ‘Lies’ that follows hot on the heels is almost as essential.

The great thing of course about bands like ‘Not Inpublic’ is that the songs are so elemental and full of feel and groove, like the drums that fire ‘Big Rig’ along as it rides a spiky riff; or the guitar and chanted vocal that fuels ‘House on Fire’.

If you like it raw and ragged, yet catchy as hell, with a shot of rock, two of punk and a little Metal threat then these guys from Vancouver B.C. are well worth checking out.

It doesn’t stop there though: ‘Hot Seat’ has a big blunt edge and rips up the house; whilst ‘Fail’ steals your lunch money after starting out so sweet, before ‘Swatch’ goes all Metal and brooding and closer ‘Tear Drop Window’ reminds you that it’s time to get out and see some real live local music like this!

Recommended for all fans of Rock and Punk with a well-placed dash of Metal.
