Greenleaf – Rise Above the Meadow

Napalm Records - February 26th 2016

There’s a certain yearning feeling, a sense of years gone by that seems to hover around Greenleaf, a sense of Rock when it was exciting, open and possibilities were endless.

There’s Sabbath in here, there’s Cream certainly, but this is an album that seeks to forge forward rather than pay homage.

If you like that psychedelic tinge, that Stoner leaning then you’ll love this album, and the musician that laid it down sound sublime.

Check out the opening pair of ‘ A Million Fireflies’ and ‘Funeral Pyre’ to get a taste and then play the relentless ‘Howl’ and our favourite ‘Pilgrims’ and you just know you’ll be listening to this again and again.
