7 Nights With The Jezabels At The Lansdowne

The Jezabels

In an unprecedented move, the Jezabels are set to perform 7 shows in 7 nights – back to back – at the Lansdowne this month. Running from Monday 21st to Sunday 27th, The Jezabels will take fans on a journey of tunes from throughout their back catalogue and may even throw in a few new tunes for good measure. Each night will also feature a different opening act.

“We had a few reasons for doing seven nights at the Lansdowne. We wanted to play a bunch of small, intimate shows to our Sydney fans where we could change up the set and play some songs we wouldn’t normally have time for and the reopened Lansdowne represents such an awesome new era for Sydney that it seemed right it should be there. But mainly, we felt a sadistic kind of pleasure in making the staff listen to us over and over to the point of sheer disdain.” – Hayley Mary, The Jezabels

The Jezabels released their 3rd full-length album, Synthia, early 2016, and the album quickly garnered praise, including a 5 Star review in the Guardian. This tour will be the first Sydney shows since their successful national tour for Synthia in October last year, and is sure to be a treat for fans.

“We are gonna throw a week of parties with one of our favourite bands! We are thrilled that the Jezabels have chosen to celebrate this series of homecoming shows with us – it highlights their consistent support of live music and our fucking amazing city. Let’s have it!” –The Lansdowne owner, Jake Smyth
