On January 20, AFI will release their first new album since 2013 titled AFI (The Blood Album), via Caroline Australia. Leading into the release, they’ve shared the video for the album’s “Snow Cats.” The constantly moving visual is directed by Drew Kirsch. In a statement, lead vocalist Davey Havok said, “Expanding endlessly from an empty room, the ‘Snow Cats’ video animates a cyclical struggle with the surreal colors of applied persona and identity.” Watch it below.
In addition to “Snow Cats,” AFI have shared “Aurelia” and “White Offerings” from The Blood Album. The record is produced by the band’s guitarist Jade Puget, with additional production by Matt Hyde, who has worked with Deftones.

Recorded at Megawatt Studios in Los Angeles, AFI (The Blood Album) is the follow-up to 2013’s Burials, which in Australia was a Top 10 Aria debut and hit Top 10 on The Billboard 200 in the US. Since the release of 1995’s debut album Answer That and Stay Fashionable, AFI has written and recorded five top ten hit singles, hit No. 1 on The Billboard 200 (with the stunning Decemberunderground), garnered worldwide critical acclaim and amassed a fiercely loyal global following whose members number in the millions.
AFI (The Blood Album) is the band’s 10th full-length studio album and first for Caroline Australia. AFI (THE BLOOD ALBUM)
