Alpha Wolf Release New Single ‘Golden Fate; Water Break’

Melbourne heavy outfit Alpha Wolf promised to come out swinging this year, between massive responses to singles ‘Golden Fate; Gut Ache’ and ‘Ward Of The State’, as well as announcing tours with Thy Art Is Murder in July, and Make Them Suffer in September, their attack has been relentless. Today they share the last single off their debut album Mono before the album comes out this Friday, with pre-orders available HERE.

“Golden Fate; Water Break is the fraternal twin of coming to terms with loss.” Explains vocalist Aidan Ellaz “Unlike it’s sister, Gut Ache, Water Break is the cold river in which you fall into unexpectedly only to feel one thing. Shock. You cannot accept what has happened, and everything shifts from black and white so suddenly. Because of this it can cause your perception of the events to be distorted and almost unreal. There is only the vast emptiness. Specifically with this track, losing someone you love. The numbness and discarded desire to move on. For some, that feeling is irreparable and they aren’t strong enough to live another day. As you break into the water. There isn’t time to register it. Because there is no registering it at all.”
The band will be heading around the country in July/August supporting Thy Art Is Murder alongside heavy hitters Cursed Earth, and Greyscale Records family Deadlights, as well as holding an All Ages album launch at Wrangler Studios in Melbourne on Sunday the 20th of July with Deadlights, Pridelands, Thornhill, & 2319. Then they’ll be assaulting stages again in September as they support Make Them Suffer and Wage War on another national tour.
