Coming off the back of a hugely successful tour alongside Aversion’s Crown and Boris The Blade, Melbourne’s Alpha Wolf share the blistering opening track to their debut album ‘Mono’ which is slated for release July 14th, and can be pre-ordered HERE.
On the single, guitarist Sabian Lynch explains “Ward Of The State is a first person realisation and negative experience of foster care. Being taken away from the walls of comfortability and thrown into what was meant to be a “better environment” only to have it destroy your innocence. Everyone has their one place they call home, their safe space and there should never be a reason to have that stripped from you. Your family are the only ones who’ll undoubtedly always truly care for you. Your home is your home.”
