Arkive surprise drop their ‘Sonder’ EP & release new single ‘Permanence’

Arkive

Arkive has waited quietly in the shadows for their time to step out, steadily building their fanbase alongside their sound, they have proven themselves a dynamic workhorse, exceptional on record, dazzling on stage and willing to break the bonds of convention, like dropping a record two days early because they can.

Since dropping the debut single Acquiescence in July, featuring the immensely talented Marcel Gadacz (Dream On Dreamer) they set a pace for the then-looming EP, but it was second single Luminous which really solidified the band’s sound.

Garnering 50k+ spins on Youtube within its first month and 22.8k+ on Spotify, it’s quickly grown into a monster song, gaining critics praise and lighting up Youtube comments sections alike.

The response hasn’t stopped there, in the day before dropping the EP, Arkive quietly released third single Permanence to their fans and it’s quickly climbing (6k+ views on Youtube in 24 hours).

It’s an amazing back-end to 2017 and indicative of what Arkive is capable of. Keep your eyes and ears open to this one.
