Australian Alternative Rock combined with modern progressive heaviness – the Unique Power that is STONE EMPIRE are back with their first release since securing their new line up. The song entitled ‘ROME BURNS’ will be the first single of 2017.

After a stellar 2016 of gigging on the back of the bands first EP produced by ARIA AWARD winner David Nicholas, titled “Octorabbitsquidskull” The band has received some serious acclaim both here in Australia and overseas, particularly in the US where Stone Empire have been making in roads through Radio and Social media, this will be backed up by a US West coast tour late 2017 to promote the new album including festivals and some major support acts.
STONE EMPIRE’S First single CAGE went to number one on the triple J unearthed rock charts as well as 2 other songs being in the top 5. CAGE has also been in the top 10 charts on Australian Radio indie and on regular rotation on RIOT FM and SWR FM. To add to the bands achievements in their short history Octorabbitsquidskull made the Australian Alternatives top 15 EP releases in December 2015 and their track Hey Man from the EP has been selected as a feature track on an up coming Dirt Bike adventure series to be announced soon.
Brendan Aitken (Drummer) says- “The band has really focused on evolving our sound as a whole, it feels like a really good combination of influences that everyone has brought to the table and that’s what makes our sound unique”.
