Perth-based artist Dan Cribb continues his year-long punk rock tribute to The Simpsons with The Garbage Man, featuring Ball Park Music bassist and vocalist Jen Boyce.
The new cover pulls things back a little from the fast-paced numbers delivered with Jeremy Neale and Luca Brasi’s Tyler Richardson in recent months, with a steady pace and structure that highlights the song’s strong melodies and soaring harmonies.
Like many iconic numbers from The Simpsons, the season nine hit from episode Trash Of The Titans is a parody of a pop culture hit – in this case The Candy Man from Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory.
