Brisbane’s pop punk trio Deluso release new video ‘Don’t Look’

Deluso

Following their debut in early 2017, Brisbane’s newest pop punk trio comes out swinging with new single and ‘Don’t Look’ and accompanying video, premiering via CONTROL Zine this week.

Reminiscent of house parties in rickety Queenslanders, on warm Brissy nights with cheap beer and good mates, Deluso capture the the energy and anxiety of being young and uncertain, but giving it a crack anyway. Borrowing sonic elements from pop punk heroes of the late 2000’s and adding the rough and tumble twang of front man Era Brightwell’s vocals, Deluso bring a vigor to the Australian music landscape which will surely resonate among fans of modern heavyweights like Luca Brasi and The Smith Street Band, all the while recalling the heyday of Kisschasy and Gyroscope.

The accompanying video for ‘Don’t Look’, was shot and edited by Jaymis Loveday and compliments the simmering anxiety of the cut’s composition, depicting the three piece in the throes of sweaty, ferocious jamming – a peep through the looking glass at the energy they lend to a Deluso live set.

Deluso’s ‘Don’t Look’ is OUT FRIDAY DECEMBER 1.
