With the release of The Mountain Goat Valley Crawl’s timetable, it’s time to grab your mates to spend a downright euphoric night out at Brisbane’s most revered live music venues. Plus, free entry to all the venues is a gift to wallets everywhere.
The Zoo, The Woolly Mammoth, The Foundry, The Brightside and Black Bear Lodge are all located in a convenient two block radius, so there’s no way you’ll miss your favourite band.
Opening the night’s festivities are indie-slacker outfit Top Dollar, and dream-pop trio Sweater Curse, who’ll wow punters at The Foundry, and Woolly Mammoth, respectively. Progressing into the evening, killer sets from the likes of I Know Leopard, Polish Club Alice Ivy, Mallrat, WAAX, plus many more will be flooding the crawl’s venues. Hometown Hip-Hop legends Butterfingers close the evening, laying down the vibes at the newly renovated Zoo for their first shows back in seven years.
With the timetable announced, and the lineup finalised it’s time to pull out the iCal and get cracking on that schedule.
‘How long will it take me to walk from The Zoo to Foundry via 5 Dogs?’
‘What meal shall I order at Lucky Egg that I can eat quickly before thrashing out at These New South Whales?’
– these are life’s most poignant questions and can only be answered with some arduous study of this here timetable and a healthy dose of Google maps.
Good luck fellow gig comrades.
