INDYA is a female ROCK ARTIST (Natalie Indya West) who studied Music at The Brit School & formed INDYA in early 2015.
Having been influenced by Rock at a young age listening to bands such as Wishbone Ash, Led Zeppelin, pink Floyd, Free, Bowie & Deep Purple she has used her influences within her own suggestive music. The swanky Singer has arranged her music into a complete sexual spectacle creating a unique Taboo Rock N Roll style. With Teasing drums & sleazy guitar riffs, think Joan Jett in Business with Royal Blood but with an old stool Glam Vibe. Her first EP “Strip Me Down” had many a plays on Kerrang! Radio, Total Rock Radio, Radio X & Team Rock with raving reviews! Strip Me Down even managed to get to 24 in the rock Invasion Charts! With having over 28,000 downloads on iTunes. Many have commented on the clever interlace of Classic Rock tangled with Glammy Punk.
INDYAS new EP “Insane Love” is a total change of genre moving more into the grungy punk field. If theres one thing Indya Loves that is to experiment! Recent gigs have included supporting Noel Gallagher at The 02 Liverpool, O2 Islington, Glastonbudget Music Festival, Camden Rocks Presents, plus many of shows in the West End & Camden plus Soccer Six. Indya are always gigging in London so all you have to do is look on her events posts to find out what gig is going near you to go and watch!
