Traditional heavy metal rockers CORNERS OF SANCTUARY (COS) has released a new single with singer Treese Logan. This latest song, “Burn,” is now available as a free mp3 download exclusively on the band’s official website until November 1st. After which, the single will be available through Exquisite Noise Records USA.

Coming off the heels of their recent “Dreams” collaboration with Powerless Rise vocalist Kayla Marie, COS quickens the pace, moving full steam ahead with their now female-fronted line up.
“Immediately after announcing Treese was with the band, we started getting asked to hear what she sounded like,” said guitarist Mick Michaels. “We had something planned but with our upcoming trip to the West Coast happening in early November, we knew releasing some new music with her vocals would be best if it were made available sooner rather than later,” he continued.
The band plans to maintain their signature traditional heavy metal sound and looks to further the style and depth of the music with the addition of Logan’s voice and a more collective songwriting process.
“This is a rare opportunity for a band…to be able to change gears after a number of years with a major component and still stay true to who we are… we feel very fortunate,” Michaels said.
“Logan’s vocals and style add a fresh new sound while staying true to Corners of Sanctuary’s old school metal roots,” stated the bands AR rep William Loney. “It’s an exciting new direction for sure,” he added.
Already with a couple of live performances with the boys under her belt, Logan will be leading the charge as COS makes their first ever outing to the West Coast in early November. Presented by Metal Babe Mayhem, COS embarks on the American Metal Mayhem Tour which includes shows at the legendary Rainbow Bar & Grill, the world famous Doll Hut and Malone’s House of Metal among others. “We are more than confident in Treese’s abilities and the direction the band is moving in,” said bassist James Pera. “The future is our greatest asset… it makes anything possible,” he continued.
The band has also put together a Fan Support Campaign to assist in raising the necessary capital for the upcoming tour. “We are not asking people just to give us money… we’ve set up some really cool merch packages in exchange for fans’ financial contributions,” stated Michaels. “The response so far has been great… we are very grateful for the support,” added Pera.
Fans making a tour contribution will be able to choose from limited edition merchandise packages which include an autographed guitar, autographed t-shirts and photos, CD packages and house party performances by the band.
