Crossfaith Announce New EP Freedom & Debut New Single “Diavolos”

Japan’s finest electro-metal warriors Crossfaith have announced they will be dropping their new digital-only three-track EP, Freedomon August 4 via UNFD. The first taste of Freedom came last night via explosive first single “Diavolos” which dropped on triple j’s The Racket.

Frontman Kenta Koie says, “We are really excited to release our new EP called Freedom. We had some very cool guest vocals from our friends Rou Reynolds (Enter Shikari) and JESSE (RIZE/THE BONEZ) and we can’t wait for all of our fans to hear it!”
Freedom follows on from their previous EP New Age Warriors, which dropped out of nowhere in mid-2016, and as mentioned features guest vocals from Rou Reynolds (Enter Shikari) and iconic Japanese rapper JESSE (THE BONEZ/RISE). A neo-futuristic manga-esque tale of human / machine hybrids, a repressive government and the power of music, Freedom takes us to a place in the not too distant future in which civilization has developed so rapidly that the citizens are starting to question what it means to be truly free.Recently back in country touring around the nation with their Australian label mates In Hearts Wake and While She Sleeps, Crossfaith dominated stages and electrified huge crowds at every stop, with The Northern Star saying “you would be hard pressed to argue that some in the crowd had come just to watch Crossfaith” while Hysteria Mag agrees “you simply can’t match the unbridled mania of Crossfaith”, but Wall of Sound said it best: “‘The greatest live show Ive ever seen’ is an egregious understatement when it comes to this Japanese powerhouse”.

Freedom is available for preorder via iTunes.
