Greek Melodic Prog Rock Powerhouse SL Theory release new video titled “Now”

In anticipation of their new, live album “Progressively Dark Live (A Concert for Group and String Orchestra)” coming up soon, SL Theory have released “Now” live from Passport, Athens, a unique blend of Prog and Melodic Hard Rock driving them forward as they are now in the process of recording their new studio album to be released in 2018.

“Now” along with videos previously released out of that very show, encapsulates the ambience and feeling of Sotiris Lagonikas’s “Progressively Dark” album and SL Theory’s “SL Theory I” and “Different Space Different Time” albums, masterfully brought together on stage, accompanied, for part of the show, by a string orchestra elevating the songs into new heights.

Eight years after its forming and the release of SL Theory I and SL Theory II albums, Sotiris Lagonikas’s SL Theory have evolved into a 10-piece band consisting of Mike Karasoulis (Dakrya / Double Treat) on vocals, Alex Flouros (Seduce The Heaven / Fragile Vastness / What’s The Buzz?” on guitars, Yiannis Nigdelis (Double Treat) on guitars, Manos Gavalas (Sound Of Silence / Airged Lamh / Noely Rayn) on keyboards and Chris Kollias (Seduce The Heaven / Persona Non Grata) on bass, as well as Alexandros Louziotis, Kandia Bouzioti, Christina Alexiou and Margarita Papadimitriou on choir vocals

On March 2017, SL Theory presented Sotiris Lagonikas’s full album “Progressively Dark” at Passport, Kerameikos, in Athens, Greece, accompanied by a string orchestra as well as songs out of the “SL Theory I (2009) ” and “Different Space Different Time (2014)” albums as well as newer songs. That live shook the foundations of the Greek Progressive scene and was followed by shows in Greece and Europe right before SL Theory re-entered the studio for the recordings of their new studio album.
