Sydney Grunge-Pop rockers Halfwait are about to release their new EP ‘Forever’ on February 17th but you can hear the entire EP today exclusively at The Rockpit. Listen to ‘Forever’ below:
Originally formed in 2010 by high school friends Jon Barca and Chris Tallon, Hal3wait made a name for themselves appearing regularly at venues such as The Sandringham Hotel, The Annandale, The Landsdowne, Bald-Faced Stag, and The SFX.
In 2011, they self released their first EP One Life One Chance with first single ‘The Ride’ and were soon receiving airplay on Radar Radio and SWR FM. Their follow-up singles ‘Reasons’ and ‘In Between’ were released in 2012 through Foghorn Records.
Following a two year hiatus, Halfwait, resumed in late 2014, adding Nath Stalenberg to the line-up as bassist, and breathing new life into the pop-rock oufit.
In early 2016, Halfwait began recording their second EP, Forever, at Electric Sun Studios with Stevie Knight and Dave Petrovic producing. Lookout for Halfwait’s return to the live scene in the coming months in your hometown.
