Hailing from New Jersey/New York, ILL NIÑO are a not just a meteorological event, they are a musical force to be reckoned with. Their revered album ‘Revolution Revolución’ marked what was the beginning for these founding fathers of Latin metal. ILL NIÑO offered something different, they brought a flair and ethnicity to the metal scene. With their jaw dropping percussive artillery and Flamenco guitar tones, the band meshed the Latino passion with an aggressive metal assault. Their live show is where they shine: driving, energetic and animated, not many bands can match them. The fans are what pushes ILL NIÑO to continue to dominate after a decade.
Now ILL NIÑO are headed back to Australia to perform their ground breaking album ‘Revolution Revolución’ in full. This is no doubt a Bucket List event to see such an influential album performed in its entirety!
Joining ILL NIÑO are Horror Metal cannibals TERROR UNIVERSAL, who were born in a dark galaxy of terror and feature current and former members of (Machine Head, Ill Nino & Soulfly). TERROR UNIVERSAL have already desecrated our soil with an appearance on Soundwave 2015 and the release of the EP ‘Reign of Terror’.
With Plague (Vocals), Massacre (Drums), Diabolus (Lead Guitar) & Thrax (Guitars) on the verge of releasing their debut album, TERROR UNIVERSAL are in deep preparation for worldwide domination: “We are here to inflict terror and fear upon the masses. Our thirst for blood is eternal,” bellows drummer Massacre. The masked deviants are sure to create even more pandemonium this time around.
