INTERVIEW: Gilby Clarke

On Tour in Australia 31/10 to 3/11/2017

Solo artist and ex-Guns ‘n’ Roses guitar-slinger Gilby Clarke is headed down-under for short set of shows this December. Starting off as guitarist in Candy, Gilby left to form his own band Kill for Thrills (whose LP ‘Dynamite from Nightmareland’ is well worth checking out) before the fateful call came from Guns ‘n’ Roses.

Since Gunners Clarke has been involved in a number of projects, released 5 solo albums, and EP and a live album as well as working with MC5, Heart, Col. Parker, Nancy Sinatra, Rockstar Supernova and of course Slash’s Snakepit.  He’s also produced albums by L.A. Guns, Bullets and Octane, The Bronx and Vains of Jenna.

We caught up with Gilby to talk about all of that and also his upcoming new solo record, due in early 2018…
