Le Butcherettes Announce Rolling Stone Live Lodge Supports

Le Butcherettes

Not long now before the heavy-thrashing powerhouses that make up Le Butcherettes take the stage for their one-off headline show as part of the Rolling Stone Live Lodge at The Landsdowne Hotel on September 30. Today they can reveal local punk band Heavy Lids & Wollongong rock duo Los Pintar will be joining them for a night of rock mayhem. Viva el punk!

Described as the ‘gay version of Black Flag’ Sydney-siders Heavy Lids will be storming the stage with tracks from their 2017 EP Heavier Lids, including self-proclaimed banger ‘Locked Out (Cooked)’, and 2016’s ‘Get Me Off’. With a band name bestowed upon them after being denied access to a bar for looking ‘tired’, their live show couldn’t be any further from their name.

Los Pintar is a raw garage rock duo from Wollongong made up of the basics – guitar, drum, male and female. Allowing their music to find its own direction through passages of distorted fuzz and drone, these two musicians can fill a room with raw emotive power making their performances events to be experienced, not simply heard. Watch on as they deliver their fuzzed-out ‘4am’

With only a few weeks left to purchase tickets you had better get in quick. This is one line-up you have to tick off your live bucket list!
