Le Butcherettes Announce Sydney Headline Show in September on Australian tour

Le Butcherettes

Tex-mex garage punk band Le Butcherettes will be bringing their sophisticated punk’n’roll to Australian stages this September/October to support fellow Texans At The Drive In at their Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne shows, as well as making their debut performance at Yours & Owls Festival. As if these shows weren’t enough to get your head around, today they announce a one-off headline performance at Sydney’s Lansdowne Hotel on September 30 as part of the Rolling Stone Live Lodge. For all you hardcore fans out there, tickets go on sale 9am AEST, 11th of August so set your alarms because these tickets will sell fast!

Led by the enigmatic Teri Gender Bender, Le Butcherettes are more than qualified to unleash their garage punk goodness on to the good people of Sydney, having toured with some of the biggest artists in the game including Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Jack White, Queens of the Stone Age and played both Coachella and Lollapalooza. Their albums have seen collaborations with Henry Rollins, Shirley Manson and fellow Y & O’s artist Omar Rodriguez-Lopez (ATDI) and include spitting tracks ‘Henry Don’t Got Love’ and ‘I’m Getting Sick of You’

Amassing a very dedicated fan base worldwide, including a long list of influential musicians and celebrities, their unforgettable live show and genre-defying music are not to be missed!
