Led Zeppelin Masters announce third show at Sydney Opera House plus playing Hamer Hall Melbourne

Stairway To Heaven Led Zeppelin MastersLed Zeppelin Masters – the all Australian production featuring Adelaide’s Zep Boys and The Black Dog Orchestra – will mark the 50th anniversary of Led Zeppelin when they once again rock bring their show to Sydney and Melbourne in early 2018

Now in its 3rd year, Led Zeppelin Masters has gone from strength to strength and has become an international touring juggernaut.  Having played across all Australian capital cities over the last 3 years – including multiple shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane – this tour ventured on its first international tour in April 2017, taking the music of Led Zeppelin back to their homeland and playing across the UK, cumulating in the prestigious London Palladium for a sold out show that raised the roof off this iconic building.

Music fans and reviewers were equally blown away and left wanting more as the Australians put on a Led Zeppelin music experience like no other:

“(Vince Contarino) delivered a vocal tour de force of Zeppelin classics..the musicianship was flawless.. the thirty-five strong orchestra brings something special to the performance.” – Southend Theatre Review

“Full of heightened passion and enthusiasm that makes the music come alive. The Palladium was up out of their seats and rocking in the aisles.”- Metal Talk

Fronted by Zep Boys, their powerhouse vocalist Vince Contarino and the symphonic might of The Black Dog Orchestra, conducted by Nicholas Buc and featuring 36 musicians and singers,
the timeless legacy of Page, Plant, Bonham and Jones and those majestic songs we know and love – Kashmir, Whole Lotta Love, Moby Dick, the epic Stairway To Heaven and so many more – will soar above the rafters of these grand venues. Hearing this music catalogue played live alongside a full orchestra is a unique experience that Led Zeppelin themselves would have appreciated.

“After the success of the UK tour we are filled with pride. What an honour to take the Led Zeppelin Masters to the United Kingdom!  2018 will be even bigger and we can’t wait to visit Sydney and Melbourne in the new year and celebrate 50 years of Led Zeppelin’s music and legacy,” said Vince Contarino.

2018 will see Led Zeppelin Masters head overseas again with talk of an extensive trip of Europe mid year. A full international schedule will be announced soon.

Since 1986, Adelaide’s Zep Boys have carved a unique place among the most flawless and passionate hard rock outfits to carry the Zeppelin flame across Australia and the UK.  With dramatically up-scaled production and note-perfect commitment unsurpassed in Zep-lore, this is their moment to make rock’n’roll history. Vince’s vocals are loud, committed and passionate. The band is tight and note perfect on those instrumental solos and performances Led Zeppelin were renown for.

This show is a live music celebration of Zeppelin’s music catalogue performed by some Australian rockers who take pride in paying homage to their musical heroes and keeping the music and legacy alive.

Arranger Nicholas Buc comes to this production as one of Australia’s most prolific musical directors and conductors. Continuing his passion for music and film, he has conducted Disney’s Pixar In Concert, Star Trek, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, Back To The Future, Psycho. In 2016 Buc completed a 50-city tour across Canada and the US with Star Trek: The Ultimate Voyage, conducting the Czech National Symphony Orchestra.
