Lincoln le Fevre & the Insiders are at the height of form following the release of Come Undone and a tour culminating in a sweaty sold out show at the Poison City Weekender.
It is with sadness that they farewell guitarist and long-time friend Adrian Lombardi as he relocates to the shores of the Adriatic. Adrian made his debut with the band on 2012’s Resonation, featuring on pedal steel, before joining as a full-time member in 2014, and was integral in writing their latest album.
If 2012’s album Resonation was a masterful exercise in emo-country, dwelling on life in a small-time town, then this year’s release Come Undone was a supercharged record on what’s left on leaving.
This November, The Insiders will be joined by the catchy pop punk yearnings of Melbourne group Self Talk, the powerfully emotional Bec Stevens will be bringing her band across from Adelaide, and the night will open with the emo-pop of Newcastle’s Rachel Maria Cox.
