Queensland hard-out rock outfit These Four Walls are returning today with a brand new track BRAVERY. They are coming out of relative hibernation for this brand new track, that lines up along with a tour their homeland New Zealand.
Bravery continues These Four Walls’ tradition of delivering empowering hard-rock anthems, but takes it to a new level, with a bigger, grittier and heavier sound overall. With its bouncy rhythm section, huge guitar tones and uplifting vocals, Bravery is three and a half minutes of These Four Walls doing what they do best.
Drummer, Brad Vickers, is excited about releasing new music and the stunning, striking video in Australia and to the world. “It’s been a minute for sure, but honestly, Bravery is where we are heading – we are most proud of this new music and can’t wait to share it.”
These Four Walls are a Australia-via-New Zealand rock band originally formed in Auckland and now based on Queensland’s Gold Coast. Since releasing their first single in 2007, the band has recorded and released two full-length albums, Down Falls an Empire (2009) and Living to Write the End (2012), both of which made the top 40 album charts in NZ.
The band are well-known in both Australia and New Zealand for their live shows, which are typically tight, heavy and high-powered performances punctuated by powerful melodic vocals from singer Steve Gibb. Their well-earned reputation as a powerhouse live act has earned the band support slots for several touring international acts including Disturbed (USA), Nickelback (CAN) and Trivium (USA), as well as top Aussie rock acts including Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus and The Getaway Plan.
These Four Walls relocated to Australia in 2013, which has allowed them to tour both NZ and Australia while working tirelessly on new material. Despite having written more songs than they can count since their move, it wasn’t until they jammed the track Bravery that they felt sound and direction of the new material was where it needed to be.
