Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds reveal album opener ‘Fort Knox’ with lyric video

Noel Gallagher

From his third album as Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, the record’s first sequenced track, ‘Fort Knox’, is revealed alongside a psychedelic new lyric video.Who Built The Moon?’ is set for release on November 24 via Sour Mash / Caroline Australia.

Noel says: “ It was the last track finished on the last day in the studio. It started from a conversation talking about the Kanye West track ‘The Power’. The singer, Y-See, had never even heard the track and she started to do this vocal over it and it was like: fucking hell! It all just fell in to place.”

While flowing from the same, molten core of melody, songwriting craft and towering self-belief, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’ new album, Who Built The Moon? alters the legendary singer-songwriter’s course following a bracing, two-year creative collaboration with renowned producer, DJ and composer, David Holmes. ‘Who Built The Moon?’ is the keenly anticipated follow-up to the platinum-selling, Chasing Yesterday (2015).
