Northlane Premiere New Single “Solar” via Twitter #Blueroom

Northlane have dropped their brand new single “Solar”. Lifted from their critically acclaimed fourth album, Mesmer, Solar is a groove-laden, multi-layered prog journey that showcases the incredible vocal talent of Marcus Bridge whose range and dexterity is unparalleled in heavy music today. The video, directed by long-time collaborator Jason Eshraghian, was premiered via Twitter #blueroom this morning.

Mesmer was released on March 24 no forewarning and completely blindsided fans and the industry alike. Northlane were lauded for presenting the album directly to their fans in such an unorthodox and exhilarating manner, and since it dropped, Mesmer has been streamed over 5.38 million times. Among the excitement, Mesmer was received with a raft of acclaim and labelled “triumphant” and a “masterpiece” by critics, shaping Northlane into one of the most successful Australian heavy music exports today.

Northlane have just wrapped up a very successful tour of South East Asia and an appearance on Hammersonic, as well as a sold out regional run around Australia, ending at The Big Pineapple Festival, playing alongside Birds of Tokyo, The Veronicas and Peking Duck.

The rest of 2017 will see Northlane take Mesmer to all corners of the globe, starting with appearances on the main stage at Download Festival (UK) and Hellfest (France). The band will also appear at Vainstream Rockfest (Germany), Jera On Air (Netherlands), Graspop (Belgium), Dissonance Festival (Italy), Rock For People (Czech Republic), Resurrection (Spain) and many more. Full UK, Europe and US tour dates will be announced soon.
