Amorphis to support Volbeat on tour
VOLBEAT has announced the support artists, hand selected by the band, as special guests on their European tour, planned for late-summer to early-fall. Finnish masters of melancholic progressive metal, AMORPHIS, have been chosen as special guest on the entire tour as opener.
“The VOLBEAT guys are good friends of us and we’ve been talking for years, how nice it would be to tour together”, says Esa Holopainen. “Mike is also huge fan of our »Tales From The Thousand Lakes« era, so he is always keen to hear stories from those ”good old” times. It’s been great to watch their huge success and how the band has taken giant leaps from level to another. Last October they played in Helsinki at Hartwall Arena and Mike asked me to do a guest appearance to one of their songs. He sent me their set list a day before, so it was a really a quick rehearsing that turned out for a great moment to share the stage with the guys. Again then we talked about touring plans and now it really escalated for real. VOLBEAT and their crew are absolutely killer people, so I’m sure it will be great fun with great bands. Pretty massive I would say.”

THE DOOMSDAY KINGDOM – release single and lyric video for ‘Hand Of Hell’
On April 7th, the selftitled debut album of THE DOOMSDAY KINGDOM will descend upon mankind and unveil eight haunting doom metal tracks with a pinch of NWOBHM. Today, the band around mastermind Leif Edling (CANDLEMASS, AVATARIUM) reveals its second single and the lyric video for ‘Hand Of Hell’.
“This is an uptempo song about the warmongers through history, that – with a nod or a pointed finger – can cause bloodbaths and kill thousands, even millions. Either in their own country or on foreign shores”, explains Leif. “I also find it quite scary, how willing certain people follow their leaders into battle and war. If you’re a prophet of hate, it seems like it is easier to gather a following than the prophets of love. Very sad.”

Agnostic Front to celebrate their 35th anniversary with a European tour
Seminal NYC hardcore veterans AGNOSTIC FRONT, have changed the face of music throughout their 35-year long career and were partially responsible for the creation of the hardcore genre itself. These rarely confronted and always respected leaders of hardcore were established as one of the meanest-sounding bands in the emerging punk genre, helping to initiate the term “hardcore,” and placing an entire uproar on the New York map by association. From the start, AGNOSTIC FRONT released a catalogue of fast and violent punk tunes consisting of distinctive and aggressive drumming, fuming guitars, overdriven bass work, and a non-stop barrage of chaotic shouting.
With their 11th studio album, »The American Dream Died« (release: April 2015 via Nuclear Blast), the band has perhaps made their most aggressive album in recent years.
So today they announce their upcoming 35th Anniversary tour, amongst others in support of their latest album »The American Dream Died«. If you want to be part of this big anniversary party, don’t miss to catch them live, here:
