On the cusp of their 2017 North American tour, Pretty City launch the brooding new psych rock single, ‘DON’T YOU REMEMBER ME MY LOVE’ at the Northcote Social Club, February 17.
‘Don’t You Remember Me My Love‘ presents a complex, hypnotic soundscape, underpinned by thunderous riffs and the relentless mantra, ‘Don’t you remember me…?‘
The song preempts the band’s upcoming Sophomore LP due for release in 2017, which showcases the melodic and immersive songwriting of Hugh Matthews combined with the explosive live energy for which the band are reputed.
Pretty City are throwing a launch party alongside their psych/prog compadres, Fierce Mild, who will be releasing new tracks from their forthcoming LP. The night also features local troubadour, Ben Wright Smith, and ethereal songstress Ruby Jones.
