Veteran New York heavy metal power trio THE RODS have been confirmed to play at the 2017 Psycho Las Vegas festival to be held August 18 – 20 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Rods guitarist / vocalist David “Rock” Feinstein has checked in with the following comment:
It’s an honor for us to be playing in Las Vegas with the kinship of so many other great bands. “Psycho” Las Vegas says it all. We can’t wait to “Crank it Up” in Vegas!

Athens, Greece based Heavy Prog band SL THEORY, release a new video titled “Afterlife” out of their anticipated live CD/DVD album to be released later on in the year.
Afterlife was shot during their highly praised March 2017 Athens show at the Passport Kerameikos stage, where SL THEORY performed songs out of Sotiris Lagonika’s (drums) album Progressively Dark (2012), the SL Theory I (2009) and Different Space, Different Time (2014) albums, as well as new yet unreleased songs.
The band is also in the process of recording their new album, details for which also to be revealed later on in 2017. Meanwhile, they are planning new live performances around Europe, starting with May 5th, 2017 and the SoundArt Festival in Bucharest Romania, more dates to be announced in the following weeks.

Alternative dark Rock band For My Demons reveal the tracklist and premiere of the new album “Close to the Shade”, out via Revalve records on May 19th.
