Slowly Slowly releases ‘Ivy On The Fence Line’

Slowly Slowly

‘Dinosaurs’, the first taste of Slowly Slowly’s forthcoming sophomore record was released in February, a simple live video filmed and recorded in front man Ben Stewart’s kitchen and the anticipation for the next release has been bubbling away ever since.

The Melbourne act finished their Summer Tour to a SOLD OUT Workers Club in Fitzroy and has now announced a new mini tour this June with the release of the next piece of the puzzle ‘Ivy On The Fence Line’

‘Ivy on the Fence Line’ is a gloomy and introspective build, shying away from the cookie cutter aesthetic showcasing what Slowly Slowly has proven to do best, well executed tension and lyrical prowess all marching towards an unflinching anthemic resolve. The song takes a conversational flow with little repetition, hinging on the poignant imagery painted by Ben Stewart.

Filmed by the talented Michael Roberts, the clip is a wash of flashing lights and intimate story telling. The outro showcases the powerful and frenzied live shows that Slowly Slowly are well known for.
