UK’s October Ends reveal new video for “Living In Shadows” off new EP “A New Path”

October Ends

October Ends is back again with a brand new impressive single – “Living In Shadows” – dishing out a monstrous second serving off the band’s just released new EP – “A New Path”. The up-tempo thrashing nature of this latest track cements the members of the formation’s newfound punk-mentality and they wear it well. Anthemic vocals and thrashing drum fills catapult the “Faith In Me” follow-up into the forefront of the current metal scene, whilst simultaneously demonstrating the depth of variability that these musicians can summon, should the situation call for it. The quartet rides on the crashing waves of the recent political climate and decide to join in, being aggressively clear of the message whilst doing so.

Providing further details about “Living In Shadows”, October Ends explains: “The song was written about the oppression of the mass population. Its message hopes to emancipate people from the chains of the elite, by raising their awareness. It’s your life, don’t let others control it.”

Overcoming line-up changes, remote writing and a rather unconventional recording process, October Ends knuckled down to produce an amalgamation of the band members’ stresses and hardships of the last year – creating something inspiring in “A New Path”. This new set of songs contains strong, heavy, aggressive, yet emotional and melodic compositions that present and expose very important topics of social matter, as this specific combination of different aspects blending together in one homogeneous product creates the distinguishable style and profile of October Ends!
