DOCTOR CYCLOPS haven’t stood idle since their latest album “Oscuropasso” (World In Sound 2014), slowly but surely rustling up their heaviest and most accomplished project to date. This new full-length entitled “Local Dogs” delivers an explosive blend of ’70s heavy rock and NWOBHM-style riffage, ready to take you back to a different era. Groovy riffs and gloomy paths coming straight from Italy’s cold woods feel like the epic saga of the ’70s is truly likely to continue its course.
“Local Dogs” was recorded by James Atkinson (Gentlemans Pistols) and boasts guest appearances from Bill Steer (Carcass, Firebird, Gentlemans Pistols) on lead guitar. It will be issued on LTD clear blue vinyl, black vinyl, CD and digital.

WOODHAWK Announce “Vagabonds of The Western Gig Tour” And Riff-tastic Debut Album Out April 7
Slathered in rock and roll riffs and dealing with a case of wanderlust, Calgary’s rock revival heroes WOODHAWK set out to unleash their debut full-length ‘Beyond The Sun’ paired with dates across Western Canada. The riff wizards just released a video for their single ‘The High Priest’, which showcases their lyricism and fanaticism for musical perfection. Lyrically the song questions individual power and how people can either use it for good or evil.

SPANISH STONERS AATHMA PUBLISH NEW LIVE VIDEO FOR “MITHRA”
After two LPs and one EP acclaimed from the underground scene, several European & Iberian tours and sharing stage with bands such as BARONESS, GODFLESH or A STORM OF LIGHT, spanish stoners AATHMA releases in 2017 a new opus entitled “Avesta”.
Now, the band has announced the release of a new live video for the track “Mithra”, an eight minute opus recorded at the release show of “Avesta”, which you can watch below.
The album is available on vinyl and CD by the independent labels Underground Legends Records, Sacramento Records, Cosmic Tentacles, The Braves Records, Odio Sonoro, Lengua Armada, VZQ & Aladeriva Records.
