Never dull in the WAAX camp, the band today release a killer live video from their performance at The Tivoli last month as part of a huge run of sold out dates with Dune Rats, Hockey Dad and WAVVES. Spitting out a mosh-inducing cut of Wild & Weak EP track ‘Nothing is Always‘, the video is the first in a live series and gives fans a taste of the full WAAX experience ahead of their We’re Totally Fucked Tour – kicking off in just under 10 days.
A huge array of talent are jumping on board too. Sydney garage-punk three piece Bloods provide main support at all three headline shows. Newcastle natives Underachiever open the Sydney show, Melbourne locals Clove warm up The Worker’s Club gig (that’s on the brink of selling out with just 30 tickets left) and Concrete Surfers rile up the crowd for WAAX’s final headline show of the year in Brisbane.
Showcasing the unfiltered reaction from crowds, this ‘Nothing Is Always’ live-tease video demonstrates just how raw and unfiltered a WAAX live show is. Seeing off a year that’s generated success after success, the We’re Totally Fucked Tour celebrates the blood, sweat and tears poured into the independent release of the band’s Wild & Weak EP . It’s a record that’s seen the five-piece thrill hundreds as a 2017 BIGSOUND stand-out and continue to build on their festival chops with an addition to Yours and Owls Festival and upcoming appearances at The Plot, Party in the Paddock and Falls Festival (Byron and Tasmania). Soaring high and burning red hot, WAAX’s epic home run continues with national support slot for the upcoming Fall Out Boy arena tour in early 2018.
Tickets for WAAX’s We’re Totally Fucked Tour are on sale now with just under 30 tickets left for Melbourne and all other shows set to sell out.
