We Ride Deliver New Video ‘What You Are’ with guest vocals by JJ Peters from Deez Nuts

Currently in the middle of the European festival circuit, WE RIDE has released the music video for “What You Are,” from their Victory Records debut, Empowering Life, available now. The powerful modern hardcore five-piece teamed up with Deez Nuts frontman JJ Peters to deliver a track that is more than just a mosh worthy anthem, but a cut that hits like an adrenaline spike to the heart. WE RIDE also announced several dates supporting Stray From The Path and Capsize with more international dates to be announced soon. Watch the new video at Alternative Press.

Front-woman Mimi Telmo explains, “’What You Are’ is about the fine line split between friendship and indifference. No matter how hard you try to salvage a relationship, sometimes you just have to walk away. This video was a lot of fun to create, and it was a personal challenge for me since it was the first time I had to be the ‘main character’ of the story. Definitely an interesting experience.” On the collaboration with Deez Nuts, she adds, “I’ve always been a fan of theirs, and when meeting JJ (Peters) in person, I saw that he is not only a great front-man, but also a lovely person. Over the years we became good friends and we always have a great time when we share a stage together. While writing this song, I felt it was perfect for JJ and I love how it turned out!”

Since the release of WE RIDE’s Victory Records debut Empowering Life, the band has pummeled tens of thousands of rock fans with their brand of fiery hardcore between festival and headlining shows across Europe, including Download and Resurrections Festivals in their native Spain. The band continues supporting Empowering Life with more festival dates and a run with Stray From The Path.
