Aussie heavy hitters Wreath drop new single “Revolutionary Suicide”

Wreath

Wreath has unveiled the official video and digital stream for their first single “Revolutionary Suicide” at www.funerarycult.com

Previously known as Legions, Wreath is the manifestation of over a decade of cutting teeth in the Australian heavy music scene.

Wreath’s vision combines the aggression of hardcore with the melodic sensibilities of death and black metal to create a sound that is familiar yet entirely unique. “Revolutionary Suicide” is a demonstration of Wreath’s breadth of influences from the extreme metal canon, and explores through its lyrics the doctrine of some of history’s most infamous suicide cults.

Over the past few days, the band has sent subliminal communications to their audience via their newly formed co-operative, Funerary Cult. Embedded within these messages, as well as within the music video for “Revolutionary Suicide”, is a manifesto and call to action for Wreath’s followers.

Wreath will perform for the first time with I Exist, Mental Cavity, Empress and Potion on June 15 at the Factory Floor in Sydney. “Revolutionary Suicide” is streaming now on Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp and YouTube.

From 2012 to present, the members of Wreath have played in Primitive Blast, Potion, Burning Season, Controlled and Mood Swing.
