After storming stages this month in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, grunge-punk duo Black Stone from the Sun will be further showcasing tracks from their debut album Dreamalysis, as they play their biggest headline show to date at Badlands Bar in Perth, June 23.
Spearheaded by new single Smile In A Daze, arguably their heaviest but most melodious track yet, Dreamalysis demonstrates the band’s evolution since their 2015 EP Death Threats and Cigarettes, showcasing a refined songwriting approach that delves into darker lyrical territory whilst retaining their raucous, bone-shattering, chaotic sound.
Recorded by The Love Junkies frontman Mitch McDonald at Perth’s legendary Blackbird Studios, BSFTS can be forgiven for the time passed between releases; having kept busy by touring nationally, supporting Birds of Tokyo on their album tour and playing their asses off all over WA.
Currently scoring radio support far and wide including RTR FM’s Local Feature Album of the Week, Black Stone from the Sun will be owning the rest of 2018 as they prepare to announce further national touring plans.
