California rockers The New Pacific drop “Anchor” ahead of Roxy show in LA

California rockers The New Pacific has released their latest single. “Anchor” is streaming via YouTube and Spotify.

The song release comes ahead of the band’s headline show at The Roxy in Los Angeles on Saturday May 19. The New Pacific’s as-of-yet untitled EP is set for release this summer.

Founded in the Spring of 2015, Los Angeles rock ‘n roll breakouts The New Pacific have earned national exposure for their melodic, emotive and resonating brand of rock. A set at the world famous Lollapalooza and airtime on KROQ radio further bolstering the stock of the young Californians.

Comprised of Alec Strickland (Guitar/Vocals), Brett Carpenter (Guitar), Dustin Martin (Bass) and Brian Perry (Drums) the musical outfit cites influences ranging from Refused to Thrice to Queens Of The Stone Age, something that shines through in the band’s dexterous and accomplished brand of rock.

 

 

The band featured alongside some of the biggest names in music as they landed a track on the Eagles of Death Metal Benefit Album alongside Florence and the Machine, Kings of Leon and Jimmy Eat World with their cover of “I Love You All The Time”.

2016 saw the release of much anticipated EP ‘Cycle’; a record debuted to a packed series of release shows at a trio of legendary LA venues: The Roxy, the Whiskey and Emo Night at The Echo.

In December 2017 the New Pacific entered the studio with Steve Evetts (The Cure, Saves The Day, Every Time I Die) to work on a follow up tho their 2016 effort, with the as-of-yet untitled EP set for release later this year. In the meantime, the band has delivered a mouth-watering taster for the coming record, with new single for “Anchor” out now.
