They say DEATH comes in threes. As it relates to Canadian extreme metal legends CRYPTOPSY, brutal, vertigo-inducing DEATH METAL indeed comes in threes! To lend some validity to this urban legend, the guys are back with the second chapter of their promised trilogy, entitled The Book Of Suffering – Tome II.
Much like 2015’s critically-acclaimed The Book Of Suffering – Tome 1, Tome II, promises an inhuman musical journey that once again defies the universal laws of relativity, gravity, rhythm, vibration, polarity and chaos. In fact, almost unbelievably, The Book Of Suffering – Tome II amps up the chaos, delivering an even more ferocious and superior sounding experience, as the band goes on to explain:
“The Book of Suffering – Tome II is some of the most intense, gnarly, brutal-yet-organic material we have written to date.”

Additionally, CRYPTOPSY will premiere the video for ‘Sire Of Sin’ on September 7th. The video was directed, filmed and edited by Chris Kells (THE AGONIST) from FTB Visuals.
This fall, CRYPTOPSY will embark on the ‘Hell Over Europe II’ tour alongside ABORTED, BENIGHTED, and CYTOTOXIN.
