Can there be a better creative environment for Rock n Roll than an abandoned garage with a thick waft of ganja hanging in the air? Sydney-based band, Fripps & Fripps don’t think there is!
Fripps & Fripps have been kicking around since 2015. They have had great success with their debut EP, ‘Feeler On The Roof’, amassing a cult-like local following which has lead them to playing sold out appearances in and around Sydney, and alongside Gang of Youths + a slot on the 2018 Mountain Sounds Festival.
2017 saw Fripps & Fripps craft a slightly different sound, going from bathrobes to black leather with the single Cigarettes For Breakfast. Now Fripps & Fripps give you (yes you) the dirty little pulsating single – Pest Control. It’s the 2nd single from a second EP, due for release later this year.
“The video encompasses everything that Fripps and Fripps represents. We’re a young band with a childish attitude and that is expressed in the clips. It shows us breaking into different scenarios uninvited and leaving having recruited everybody to our artistic empire. At the end of the day its all a joke but it still acts as a metaphor for our desire to grow as a band and bring everyone who enjoys what we do along with us. – Fripps & Fripps
