Ghouls join forces with Foxblood for the ‘No Better Place To Be’ Australian Tour this APRIL!

UK Alt-Punk Rockers GHOULS are heading down under for their first Australian co-headline Tour, sharing the run will be Australia’s own FOXBLOOD. Both bands will travel the country for the ’No Better Place To Be’ Tour this April.

February 9 will see the band drop their brand new single ‘Internet Famous’. It presents a highly relevant theme to todays era and delivers a strong message. Frontman Benedict says “I took myself off social media this summer and honestly, it genuinely changed me; I have more time, better perspectives, less anxiety and less care for where I go and what I do… There is a place for it and it can be a useful tool but I would urge people to look up from their phones once in a while – there’s real beauty in physical conversations and real life activity”

Everything the band achieves is down to the sheer determination and DIY means of its members Benedict Goold (Lead Vocals and Guitar), Sam Mussell (Bass), Ben Maz (Saxophone), Russel Spencer (Trombone) and Jay Swinstead (Drums) to make things work.

The GHOULS journey started in 2013 and has been backed up by a trio of impressive releases to date. Their debut album ‘Ten Thousand Words On’ saw GHOULS sell-out The Monarch in Camden, attended by a raft of fans, including Frank Turner, who continues to speak of his admiration for the promising young act. The success continues with the latest release of album ‘Run’.

The unique 5-piece outfit share a diverse array of musical backgrounds and influences. Frontman Benedict Goold says “We aren’t bothered where we’re placed or how you categorise us as a band, only that you notice that we’re unique and offer something for those who stand out and feel they are different from the rest of the ‘crowd’.”

GHOULS have cemented themselves as mainstays on the UK and European circuit, where their relentless touring ethic has seen them hit every corner of the continent, including leading festivals, such as 2000Trees, Jera On Air, The Secret Garden Party, Mighty Sounds, Hit The Deck and more. 2016 and 2017 saw more milestones in the band’s plans for world domination; a two-week tour of the USA, including appearances at THE FEST in Gainesville, Florida, and a massive Brixton Academy show as part of the Fireball Fuelling The Fire Tour. Ghouls are not done yet, now it’s time to add Australia to this list – with a 6 date national tour from east to west.

The other half of this killer co-headline tour is explosive Australian Rock/Metal 5 piece from Melbourne, FOXBLOOD. Taking no time at all in making a name for themselves in the worldwide music scene. Since the release of their debut record ‘The Devil, The Dark & The Rain’ in late 2016, Foxblood have run through Australia 3 times, both on a headline and supporting ‘Roadrunner Records’ Make Them Suffer & UNFD’s Buried In Verona. Foxblood will be a force to watch in 2018 if their latest highly accredited single “Bittersweet” has anything to say (which boy does it!).

Joining the already extraordinary co-headliners Ghouls & Foxblood will be a selection of local supports in each city. Presented by Inhale Music Productions this is one tour this year you will want to be at!
