Introducing Brisbane hard rock band Whyte Wydow

Whyte Wydow

Whyte Wydow has been a part of the Australian Rock Music scene for the past 4 years. The band is a female fronted 5 piece originals act that continues to grow in popularity. Since this line-ups’ formation, the band has been focused on quality originals and brings fresh new music to the Rock Scene of Australia.

All of Whyte Wydows’ members… Jessy, Billy, Matt, Jeremy and Will have a wealth of experience and professionalism within the industry and this show is their song writing and live performance. All members have been performing in the music industry for decades. Whyte Wydows solid sound brings back the ROCK to Rock n Roll!!

Jessy is the front woman and one of the songwriters of the band. With the rest of the band hailing from Brisbane, Jessy started her career in Canada, honing her skills before bringing them to Australian shores. Her powerful vocal style reminiscent of well known classic female rock singers, to whom Jessy sights as influences. Jade ‘Billy’ Biltoft, has been drumming for many years, and sets the pace for Whyte Wydows memorable sound. “I’ve been in some great bands, but Whyte Wydow is making great music”.

Matthew Tuxworth is just one part of Whyte Wydow’s twin guitar attack. Matts’ edgy style and sound, helps bring Whyte Wydows’ driving rock and roll statement to life. “We go hard, give the audience all we can, from start to finish”. Jeremy Dwyer is Whyte Wydow’s second part of their guitar aural aggression. Jeremy’s years of experience shines through as both guitarists complement each others style of playing. Jeremy’s slightly laid back style is the perfect match with Matt’s more in your face playing.

With newcomer Will Clayfield on bass, the circle is complete. Will had been in or around the local scene since the mid 80’s and is a respected member of the local music community. Will says has found a home in Whyte Wydow’s line-up. “I’ve played with some great and memorable band and people, but this blend of our different styles and influences, all comes back to what makes great original music!. it feels like home in this band” said Will

So far Whyte Wydow have been laying the foundation for things to come. With a well received shows from placing 4th in a state battle of the bands held at the well known venue The Triffid, and rocking the Back Room of the landmark Chardons Corner Hotel, to invites to play on both the Cobalt Audio #1 and the FLATLINE manifest (a tribute to Soundwave) , at the very popular New Globe Theatre, Main stage. Whyte Wydow are also on the bill for the FemMetalRoc Festival in March, for bands with female members in their line-ups, and the Brisbane heat of the Mojo Burning Festival, both being held at the well know Prince of Wales Hotel next month.

Whyte Wydow is a band to watch, as their own style of original rock begins to find larger audiences with each show under their belts. “We love playing, and Whyte Wydow is the perfect vehicle to do it!..We all enjoy what we do, and we all get along and have the same focus and drive as any of us has had individually.. and we have fun doing it!
