Justin Masters releases debut album ‘Good Life, Bad Liver’

Straight from New York City…  After spending much of the last 2 decades in popular area bands, Justin Masters has released his debut solo album.  The cynically, light heartedly titled “GOOD LIVER BAD LIVER”.

12 songs on a classic rock & roll journey through various stages in life.  From the thematic opener, “Crazy Way to Live”.  The acoustic story song “Let’s Ride”.  The angry and anthemic “Who Took Our Rock & Roll”.  The aptly titled “Sweet Thing”.  And album closer, the dramatic “King for a Day”.  This is a classy, thoughtfully arranged record for those that love classic rock and singer/songwriters.

In his own words,
“These are the songs and stories of the times I’ve spent in my adult life since moving here in 2000.  I’ve always been in bands but except for a few occasions, it’s always been playing other people’s songs. Playing guitar following someone else’s vision of what the band should be.  I just needed something completed. Something to show for all those countless times inspiration hit. It took hours…days…years…just to get it right.”

From LoveIsPop.com,
“Mature record with thought-provoking lyrics that told stories. Its 12 songs are packed with infectious guitar melodies and catchy choruses.”

From RockEyez.com,
“Good Life Bad Liver” from Justin Masters is a pretty cool debut for this singer/songwriter and he’ll be worth keeping an eye out for in the future, so let’s keep hoping he continues to follow his own vision because the results could be very much worth it.”

All songs written, produced and performed by Justin Masters. To help complete this album, it features Jason Harrison on drums. Lead vocals are courtesy of Zach Allen The final mastering was done by Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound NYC.
