American symphonic metal titans Kamelot returned to Australian shores this week in support of the release of their latest album ‘The Shadow Theory’. It has been 5 years since the band have brought their onslaught of symphonic power metal to the country which has seen them tear across the east coast, blowing the roof off every venue in their path. Kamelot have been known to showcase a string of female talent at their shows, and these shows introduced Lauren Hart – vocalist of death metal outfit, Once Human to the fold.
Along for the ride are Brisbane’s Valhalore, one of Australia’s most promising metal acts. Valhalore blend a unique mix of epic, folk and power metal elements to create a bombastic and vicious onslaught of vocal and instrumental prowess that is truly a sight to behold. Support also came in the form of Illawarra 4 piece folk metal act Saralisse who’s high energy live performances give fans an early treat to start the evening.
Sydney was the final show of the tour as seen below captured in photogenic glory by Adam Sivewright at the Manning Bar this past Friday night.
