Stick To Your Guns and Terror promised something special for their upcoming ‘True View Au‘ 2019 Australian Tour. Intimate hardcore shows, small stages, no barriers, and 300 of your closest friends. Another equality important part of creating a true hardcore experience is sharing the stage with some of freshest young acts and getting those bands in front of crowds that need to hear them; so these heavy weights of hardcore made sure the cream of the crop from the Australian hardcore scene were along for the ride.
From Brisbane’s Crave Death fresh off the back of dropping two punishing new singles, to Kid Presentable representing Canberra Hardcore with their new EP Disposable Culture, to Melbourne riff-lords Dregg, to Perth royalty Ratking, these stages and these shows promise to showcase the best from Australia, with the best in the world.
Over the past 15 years, Southern California’s Stick To Your Guns have been a mainstay in the international hardcore scene. Through their socially conscious lyrics, heavy-yet-melodic riffs, and most recently putting their money where their mouths are with their #Hopebringers initiative, they have garnished the adoration of fan across the globe. Since the release of True View in 2017 the band has toured the globe relentlessly, truly pushing to all corners of the globe as they became the first American hardcore band to play East Africa with a show in Nairobi, Kenya; and now Stick To Your Guns are elated to return to Australian shores in January of 2019.
There are few bands more synonymous with hardcore than Los Angeles’ Terror, and with the release of their 7th studio album Total Retaliation packing just as much punch as anything the band has released to date, no one will ever question their place in the scene. Total Retaliation is short, furious, intense, and with a clear message that the band stands with the disaffected and the disillusioned in the face of a world that doesn’t want them. After a six year absence, 2019 will mark the band’s triumphant return to Australian stages, promising to make up for time lost with a live energy that has to be experienced.
