Los Angeles, CA (January 24, 2018) – AXS TV, the premier destination for classic rock programming, puts the spotlight on the most influential songs, bands, and musicians in the history of rock in the all-new original series “The Top Ten Revealed,” premiering Sunday, February 11 at 9:30pE/6:30pP. The countdown show is hosted and executive produced by Katie Daryl (formerly of “The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands”), who orchestrates discussions with a rotating panel of music icons and experts producing a witty, edgy, and insightful conversation examining the musicians and the music who have left an indelible mark on the rock n’ roll scene.
Each episode features a different theme, opening with a look at Guitar Rock Intros on February 11 with special guests including Guns N’ Roses legend Steven Adler, former Pantera percussionist Vinnie Paul, and the First Lady of Rock, herself, Lita Ford. Other highlights include the top Songs Named After Women (Feb. 18), with Ford, Adler, and KROQ personality Stryker; and the top ‘80s Rock Ballads (Feb. 25) with Adler and Daryl joined by Def Leppard bassist Vivian Campbell and Great White frontman Jack Russell. Rounding out the season are spirited discussions on Vietnam Era Rock, with exclusive reflections by legendary newsman Dan Rather (Mar. 4); ‘70s Hard Rock Hits (Mar. 11) with Quiet Riot axeman Alex Grossi; and Hits That Were Covers (Mar. 18) with drumming superstar Kenny Aronoff (John Mellencamp, John Fogerty).
In addition to the aforementioned guests, this season will also feature appearances by celebrity specialist Kevin Blatt, musician and “Shameless” regular Mike Cochrane, Warrant bassist Jerry Dixon, funnyman Pete Giovine, former Atlantic Records president Jerry Greenberg, former TMZ reporter Max Hodges, SiriusXM host Jose Mangin, Yahoo! music editor Lyndsey Parker, Lynch Mob vocalist Keith St. John, Warrant drummer Steven Sweet, SiriusXM host and MTV/VH1 VJ icon Matt Pinfield, and renowned music guru and host of AXS TV’s “Trunkfest” Eddie Trunk.
