Sad news today that world renowned producer Chris Tsangarides has passed away at the age of just 61 after a battle with pneumonia and heart failure. Over the years Tsangarides produced so many rock and metal classics that it’s hard to single highlights out.
Artists he worked with and produced included: Judas Priest, Anvil, Gary Moore, Thin Lizzy, Saxon, Tigertailz, Girl, Girlschool, Ian Gillan, Helloween, Magnum, New Model Army, Ozzy, Anvil, Yngwie Malmsteen, The Quireboys, Rock Goddess, The Sisters of Mercy, TNT, UFO, Y&T and Tygers of Pan Tang as well as more mainstream bands like Japan, Depeche Mode, Tom Jones, and The Tragically Hip.
We interviewed Chris in 2010 where he gave us a wonderful overview of a great career to date.
