SiLK9 unveils new video “I Don’t Know”

Silk 9

Combining the melodicism of Dokken with the hard-hitting approach of Pantera, SiLK9 is certainly one of the more promising hard rock/heavy metal bands to hit the scene in modern times. And this is certainly proven by the group’s latest music video, for the track “I Don’t Know”.

As the group’s leader/guitarist, Anthony Leone, explains, “’I Don’t Know’ is about struggles. You may have struggles in life, or you may have addictions…regardless, we want everyone to know that even though things may feel at the worst, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Even when moving forward may feel like falling far behind, it’s only temporary! Grab and cherish the good days, and let go of the bad ones.

The band – which is also comprised of Scott Boyd (vocals), Charlie Hughes (bass), and Justin Walker (drums) – issued their latest release on January 5, 2018, ‘Retribution,’ via RFL Records.
The band’s previous EP was released under the title ‘Exit The Pain,’ and was released to much acclaim on the local Pittsburgh and Tri-State scenes with regular radio play on several local stations as well as internet radio. It received 6 nominations in the Iron City Rocks Music Awards, and nailed down the award for “Best Album of the Year.”

And with the arrival of ‘Retribution,’ fans will be treated to 5 high energy and flat-out aggressive tunes that will burn the soul and etch new depths into your melodic metal core; melody that stretches the heart; a heavy beat that ravages your mind; a powerful pre-cursor to a new album that is in the works for 2018. The dawn of a new era launches and the thunder that is SiLK9 is set to take the hard rock world by storm. Can your ears handle the volume?

“RETRIBUTION” Tracklist:

1. Knife In My Back
2. Erased My Memories
3. I Don’t Know
