Spiderbait, The Superjesus and Mammal join forces for ‘Come Together’ show

Come Together Recharged is back and ready to rock out over two massive weekends in June.  Kicking off on Sunday June 10 at Sydney’s world-famous Big Top Luna Park, then moving to Nightquarter at the Gold Coast on Saturday June 30, Come Together Recharged is getting back to the festival’s rock music roots, after presenting some of the most memorable hiphop and indie music lineups in Australia since 2005.  And who better to lead the charge on a rock-focused lineup than the mighty Spiderbait.  Organisers are stoked to present six straight hours of high-energy, homegrown rock, back at the home of fun, Sydney’s Big Top at Luna Park and at the renowned Gold Coast venue Nightquarter at Helensvale.  Aside from an exclusive set from Spiderbait, this stellar lineup includes legends The Superjesus, Mammal, Osaka Punch, and thrilling newcomers RACKETT.

Undoubtedly one of Australia’s favourite live bands,  Spiderbait have made history as the first Australian band to ever top triple j’s Hottest 100 with their hit Buy Me A Pony.  Since then, they’ve collected numerous ARIAs and secured their place as one of the greatest live power trios of all time.  Spiderbait’s greatest hits set at Come Together Recharged will be the band’s only Sydney show for 2018, as well as their first Gold Coast show in many, many years – so fans had best secure their tickets now!

Joining Spiderbait will be The Superjesus, who are celebrating 20 years since the release of their platinum debut album Sumo.  In their first Gold Coast show since 2014 and first Sydney show in over a year, The Superjesus will be playing faves across the board, alongside their brand new single Confide In Me.  Speaking of killer live acts, next up on this kickass lineup are Melbourne’s own modern rock monsters Mammal who are back after a hiatus and exciting as ever, with two brand new songs Community (out now) & Virtue Signalling are ready to bring their high energy punk, funk and rock to fans new and old.

And as always, Come Together introduces the best of the newcomers.  Hailing from Brisbane, Osaka Punch are resolutely forging a reputation as one of Australia’s most wildly entertaining live acts.  The group’s heady cocktail of catchy grooves, jazz chops, live antics and a solid rock ethos are sure to wow audiences on the day.  Rounding off the lineup is Sydney’s own gal rockers RACKETT, whose slamming, loud, experimental pop-punk has won over punters and critics alike. Ticketholders should get in early to ensure they don’t miss a riff!

Come Together Recharged is sure to bring music fans together over an awesome day of rockin’ music and fun.  Respective ticket prices include unlimited free rides at Luna Park between 3PM and 5.30PM at the NSW show, and cost of light rail, trains and buses from Broadbeach to Helensvale at the QLD show.  Tickets are selling fast, and they won’t be around for long!

Come Together Recharged will take place at Big Top Luna Park in Sydney on Sunday June 10 and at Nightquarter at the Gold Coast on Saturday June 30.
