Stuck Out to hit the Australian roads this October with Whatever Forever

Stuck Out

Melbourne’s Stuck Out charged into the spotlight of the Australian alternative scene earlier this year with their critically acclaimed debut EP You Won’t Come Home. Don’t Bore Us called it “the essential pop punk growing up narrative”, while KillYourStereo stated “…there’s something about ‘You Won’t Come Home’ that feels… fuller; that just feels better. The songs here feel far more real, deep and purposeful and I’m not talking about just the lyrical themes or emotions on offer either. The music itself feels anything but the paper thin efforts of some of Stuck Out’s local and international contemporaries.”

After selling out their EP launch, and a range of shows across the country, Stuck Out are taking this EP on their first headlining run, and they couldn’t be more excited. “We’ve been blown away by everyones reaction to You Won’t Come Home, especially at our live shows!” exclaimed vocalist Joshua Walker. “We pride ourselves on crowd involvement so the response we’ve had at each show has been phenomenal! People screaming the lyrics, jumping on each other, crowd surfing and just generally having a good time.”

Joining Stuck Out on this run is Sydney sad-boys (and unofficial Greyscale Records super-group) Whatever Forever. The five piece, which features members of Justice For The Damned and Our Past Days, channel incredibly catchy riffs and sing along choruses with more feeling than most of their contemporaries.

The future for Stuck Out is looking brighter and brighter, but for now, Walker is focusing on the present. “We can’t wait to take ‘You Won’t Come Home’ on tour and showcase our live performance that we’ve worked so hard on.”
