The Adarna announce Road to Resonance Tour and Album Release

The Adarna

Jet City Rockers, The Adarna, announce the release of their third studio album, Road to Resonance. The album will be released online July 10, 2018 with a CD Release at the Skylark in Seattle on July 12th. This LP will be the follow-up to their 2015 album, How Perceptive.

Frontman for The Adarna, William Perry Moore, explains, “this was a hard fought album. We wanted to push our comfortability and skills by adding more musical influences and electronic sounds to our music.” The initial process of Road to Resonance began in 2017 during their Dollars & Dignity Tour. During this tour, the band’s tour vehicle “Wendy,” had major transmission failure on their way to perform at Rocklahoma. This was a big hit for the band’s finances but they were determined to save their vehicle, complete the tour, and find a way to still release the LP that they owed their fans. What you see and hear before you is the result of The Adarna’s typical “never-say-die attitude.”

The album is produced by Len Hotrum with engineering by Emmy award winner, Greg Tobler and Anthony “Fu” Valcic. The artwork for the album came from Liam Brazier, notable for working with Queens of the Stone Age, Megadeth, and LCD Sound System.

William explains some of the song concepts in Road to Resonance as, “the path we all have to take to find something that resonates within ourselves, in music, and in others. We use this album to find the edges and corners in our lives, the points where we could fall off into the abyss or choose to step back. The song ‘Hold Me Close to the Edge.’ refers to our breaking points, and what the views look like from there.

The song “Firefight” was written as an homage to the brave men and women everywhere. In 2016, The Adarna was honored to perform overseas for the US troops in the Middle East and the trip has left a lasting impression with the band.

“Drugstore Cowgirl refers to the chemical junkies we have all become between juggling our vices and our ability to function. ‘Do What the $$ Says’ is a song about stripper assassins and was originally written around a riff that Andreka Jasek (guitarist) wrote when she was only 17.”

The band will be touring this summer, starting May 25- August 5 on their Resonance Tour. For the full tour schedule, please refer to: theadarna.com/tour

Road to Resonance will be available for download on iTunes, Amazon, CDBaby, and theadarna.com beginning July 12, 2018.
